This poem was originally written as a hymn based on the prophecy of Habakkuk in 7th century BC, prior to the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem.  It questions the presence of God in a time of injustice, greed and violence yet concludes with an affirmation of faith (seen inside the card)

An original poem and relevant pencil drawing of a stag deer by Equality Cards' artist and poet, CJ Allison.

(The verse inside this card reads: But yet my God is faithful, He sets my feet like deer.  Rejoice oh heart, be joyful, For nothing shall I fear.)

Produced on strong card (11cm x 14cm), complete with C5 envelope and individually wrapped in cellophane.

The pencil drawing used on this card is also available as a sealed and mounted A4 or A3 print – contact info@EqualityCards.co.uk for more details.
